Celebration and worship with music and song

We believe in celebrating all that we have in Christ in public and ritualistic modes of corporate acknowledgement of God’s grace to us in Christ. Corporate worship is a dynamic encounter between humanity and God in which God has made provision for our creativity and emotion to be openly employed in celebration and worship.

The sacraments of Communion and Baptism

The sacraments are more than mere symbolic gestures toward God. They constitute a dynamic encounter with God. The sacraments are physical handles on spiritual realities. The sacraments are to be engaged in with reverence and hope.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit and natural ability

We believe God has gifted every believer with natural abilities and also with gifts of the Holy Spirit. These are employed in the service of God by the church as an act of worship and the old truism “use it or lose it” is as true for these gifts as for any other.
